GCU Futsal Kickoff Weekend

Champions Division

We offer three distinct divisions to create the ideal futsal experience for all teams — from elite youth clubs to competitive programs and adult squads. Each division guarantees a minimum of 3 games in a round-robin format, with Champions and Runners-Up crowned in every bracket.

Team Registration (Coaches and Managers ONLY) : Click the Team Registration button above. Select the option that best fits your team. Complete the registration information. You will be emailed a confirmation receipt and welcome email when your registration has successfully gone through. The next step is to then direct your players to the website to sign up.

Players: Click on the Player Registration button above. Select your team from the dropdown menu, complete the registration information. You will be emailed a confirmation receipt when your registration has successfully gone through.

Champions Division (Youth Only – U8 to U18)

For top-tier futsal clubs and advanced youth teams seeking the highest level of competition.
This division features invite-only or application-reviewed entries and brings together the best of the best for serious matchups.

  • Ages: U8–U18
  • Format: Round-robin play (3-game minimum) with championship placement
  • Awards: Champion & Runner-Up
  • Ideal for: National-level futsal programs and elite youth clubs

Roster Limits & Guidelines

  • Minimum Players: 5 (4 field players + 1 goalkeeper)
  • Maximum Roster Size:
    • Youth Teams (U8–U18): 12 players
  • Match Day Roster Limit: Only 12 players may be active per match
  • Guest Players: Up to 3 guest players allowed per team. All guest players must be properly registered, approved, and listed on the final roster.
  • Roster Freeze Date: All rosters will be frozen 72 hours prior to the start of the tournament (July 29, 2025). No additions or changes will be permitted after this deadline without written approval from tournament staff.

Waivers & Check-In Requirements
Tournament staff may adjust division placement to ensure fair and balanced competition

Player Waivers

  • All players must have a signed waiver on file in order to participate. Waivers will be submitted digitally through GotSport at the time of roster submission or registration. Players without a completed waiver will not be eligible to play.

Team Check-In

  • Team check-in must be completed online prior to the roster freeze. Coaches or managers must verify player eligibility, guest player approval, and jersey numbers. In-person check-in is not required unless otherwise notified.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Grand Canyon University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
